Located in Russell, Ontario, Castor Creek Farm is a small family-run farm that raises chicken and pork, naturally, and without the use of GMO-food, additives, antibiotics or growth hormones.

Animal health, happiness and welfare is prioritized over speedy growth or large scale production.

Try our healthy, tasty whole chickens, and range of pork products, including ground pork, chops, sausages, bacon, ribs, hams, roasts and hocks.

Natural.

We raise all of our animals as naturally as possible. They are encouraged to eat a natural diet where feasible. When feed is required to supplement their diets, it is free of antibiotics and other additives.

Our chickens are pasture-raised and spend their days outside as nature intended with clean, fresh air and sunlight.

The pigs are given an abundance of space where they can root and do what comes naturally to them.

Cows are grass finished. Aside from a very short period of time when they are young and require feed, they are on pasture all day long and raised solely on grass.

Animal welfare and happiness is our priority.

Our animals are not treated with growth hormones or encouraged to over-feed and put on weight quickly. The health and well-being of the animals is prioritized over rapid growth.

During the winter months when animals need to be brought indoors, they reside in a warm, window-filled barn with tons of natural light. Unlike most industrial facilities, our animals have plenty of space to move freely and behave according to their instincts.

We obtain our animals from local breeders who abide by the same standards of animal welfare.

We supplement our animals' diet with feed from local suppliers.

Our animals our processed at a local government-certified and inspected facility.
